Charity chosen: Children’s Hospital LA

Money raised: $27,300 HKD

This year I baked cookies, brownies and banana bread! The cookies were Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle and Oatmeal Raisin! Since we had moved houses and our oven wasn't that good, I had a little bit of trouble trying to perfect my desserts but it ended up working out fine! It was very time consuming as our oven only had one shelf and there was so much to bake. There was always someone keeping an eye on the oven from 8am-10pm! This year I had the help of my cousin, Sheryl who made amazing banana bread!  

This year, I chose to donate to the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles because Los Angeles holds a very special place in my heart. We have been going there every summer (except for 2016) since 2011 and I have always had an amazing time there. I wanted to give back to people beyond the Hong Kong community, and giving back to the Los Angeles community was an easy decision!
